Nice steep launch off the campstore store dock. Everyone is fast and friendly and you are less than a mile from the bottom side of the dam where all the action is.

On the south shore, just east of Wheeler Dam; from Hwy 72, turn south onto SR 10, cross the dam and follow to state park entrance. A 1-lane concrete ramp and paved parking area are provided. There are 27 cabins available for guests and the ramp is mainly used by guests of the park.

On the east shore of First Creek in the state park; follow Hwy 72 to park entrance, go south and follow signs to ramp. Two paved ramps are found here. One is a 4-lane and the other a 2-lane ramp. The access offers paved parking, three courtesy docks and a lavatory.

In small cove on the north shore, near Lucy Branch; from Rogersville, take Hwy 72 east, turn south onto CR 24 (Little Elk Road), turn left. Turn left onto Weaver Road, folllow to Snake Road, turn left and follow to park entrance. A 1-lane concrete ramp and direct parking area are provided.

On the west shore of Mallard Creek in Lakeview; from Mallard Creek Road go east on CR 443 and south on 442 to access. A 1-lane concrete ramp, courtesy dock and paved parking area are available. The recreation area also offers restrooms, a picnic area, camping and public telephones.

In a protected cove under the Hwy 31 bridge; from Decatur, take Hwy 31 north to marina turn off. A 6-lane concrete ramp, courtesy dock and paved parking area are available. This is a full service marina, offering restrooms, gas, boat rentals and a restaurant. A fee may apply.
