Fishing Report

Fishing Report for 4/28/10:

Fishing on Wheeler Lake has been excellent this week. The spawn is NOT officially over. Water level is at full pool. The 12-14 inch fish are in abundance. The bigger fish are starting to bite topwater (mornings and evenings), jigs, and plastics. Color choice is very important. Pay attention to the water color, water current, and wind. Please practice good boating safety, boating courtesy, and catch and release, as we all want to catch the BIG ONE. A good tip for the week is....more times than not the wind is your friend
